Here is my first FACEBOOK LIVE POST
on my facebook page:
As a goal, I’ve been working towards moving towards having more of an online presence, potentially making videos of my card classes/tutorials and even selling my card classes in an online format. I have had a few customers over the past couple of years in very rural areas that would appreciate having the opportunity to participate, so here goes!
Today was my first ever facebook live and I am pretty happy with it! Thanks to all that joined and supported me, it was actually really fun!! I hope you all will come back 🙂 Next week I will talk more about Project Life December Daily! and show off some of my creations from the past two years, in more detail. Bare with me, I’m in the process of also getting set up to do hands-only videos so I can showcase better in that format too.
Apologies, again, for the banging in the back of the video, the roofers are right above me doing the shingles on our house, they’ll be gone by next time! Thanks!
I love anything vintage so when I saw this Father Christmas stamp set come out in our current holiday 2016 catalogue (page 22), I fell in love! The first thing that popped into my head was to pair it with the new Glitter Stampin’ Emboss Powder (page 7) as many of you know, I also love anything glimmar and bling! Santa is also cut out using the NEW stitched framelits available only for November until they are released again in the new 2017 catalogue. They will definitely be a permanent piece to my framelits collection. They come in circles, ovals and squares for a total of 12 framelits!Contact me to order today!
This one uses crumb cake cardstock, as well as Always Artichoke cardstock and ink. Santa is stamped in Early Espresso and cut using the branners framelits, and colored using our Stampin Write markers. I distressed Santa as well as the circle sentiment using a Stampin dauber using Early Espresso, and attached the circle with dimensionals.
Lastly, a surprise idea for my class attendees is a larger card, don’t worry, Ladies, I will make sure you can make some envelopes using my punch board, or take home the paper to do yourself! I was inspired by marineetstamp.com for this one, thank you, Marine, or, better yet, merci!!!!!
This card starts with a 9×9 whisper white cardstock and is layered with Candy Cane Lane Designer Series paper and whisper white again. I chose to distress the top layer and leave Santa and the bag of toys as is, whereas Marine had colored hers and did not distress so mine definitely has a more dark/vintage fell/look. All stamping in Early Espresso ink. I really liked it, so much that I’ve had to order more ribbon expedited to get it here on time for my class!! I hate when I do that to myself! But figured I’d be happy to have more of this gorgeous Real Red 3/4 inch stitched edge ribbon for my smaller gifts come Christmas (or for the cookie exchange boxes!) I know, great idea, right?
Like what you see? Well, my in-person class is schedule for November 22 and is SOLD OUT!! Follow the link below to order the supplies from my website, direct to your home and I will send you a link to a video tutorial for FREE! I’m new to this idea of selling online classes so just testing it out for now, see if I like doing it and where I want to go from here.
Supply list for all 3 cards:
Supplies in RED are only available in the current holiday catalogue.
Stitched framelits in GREEN only released November 1st so a brand NEW product!

In a few short hours I’ll be departing YYC for Vancouver and a full day of creative fun, product launch and new Occasions catalogue 2017! Very much looking forward to the getaway. Special thanks to my wonderful hubby for all his support and being Mr. Mom for the weekend 🙂
Spent most of the week getting swaps done, I’ve got 2 different card fronts, a few variations on the Country Livin’ (more photos to come when I post with instructions for both) as I ran out of doilies and just continued to come up with different versions…
I’m quite in love with the Over the Rainbow one as it’s just adorable. Credit to Susan Wong (Stamping with Susan) for the inspiration and I put my own touches on it – different colors, Pop of Pink washi and chose the sentiment from the set. I’ll leave you wanting more and will post full photos and instructions by next week, along with my haul of swaps from tomorrow!
