Occasions 2017 reveal VIDEO and Merry Christmas!

Check out the video I posted this morning on Facebook live!! It’s a reveal of all things new and Occasions 2017 and all the hints about what my classes will look like for the new year!! Stay tuned for a calendar of events for the next 6 months, coming soon!

Also, I talk about an upcoming charity crop for Rowan House Emergency Shelter for Women & Children that will be held on March 11th, watch the video for more details. 🙂

Facebook Live tomorrow morning, 9am!

I’ve been super busy and finally got Christmas cards out, as well as many of the new Occasions catalogues, who has dove in and has already started their wish list? Come on, know you have!!

I’ve been off a schedule again this week, so I’m going to hop on and do a Facebook live tomorrow morning and touch base on a few things, especially to show you some of my new product and stamps sets!! Can you say watercolor pencils????

I’m also going to put a huge plug in for the 70% off at Michaels!  Yes, Stampin Up is my first love, but I still buy lots at Michaels, especially little Christmas crafty stuff for my girls, I got little coloring bookets for 45 cents!!! On the other end of the spectrum, I got a 8 pack of Recollections vintage Christmas washi for 5.99!!! So I bought 2, of course!! I got a few stocking stuffers for my girls and some super cheap goodies for my Project Life December Daily (which I haven’t even started, we won’t go there right now), it will get done 🙂

Occasions 2017 Sneak Peeks…stay tuned this week!

My pre-order is here! Catalogues are here!! So much to play with…and… tomorrow is my babies’ 4th birthday!!  So I will be doing my best to get cattys out to you locals and into the mail asap but bare with me, tomorrow is an exciting day here in twin world, we have survived!

So after we have an emotional celebration of how far our two crazy girlies have come since they were wee littles, I will get down to business and start showing off the new stuff!

If you follow my facebook page, then you saw last night’s sneak peek was the watercolor pencils!!

First thing I did was stare at how beautiful they are, ponder which stamps to use to do a class in the new year, and hop onto Stampin Up’s You Tube channel and watch their video on these beauties with lots of tips in using with with your blender pen, aqua painters, water color paper, whisper white paper, and so on, it’s really a must-see, check it out here!!!

Contact me: janleygrant@ to place an order, first order of the new Occasions 2017 will be going in on January 4th, launch day!! ….

Addresses, Please!

So after many years of hubby and I fighting as to which spreadsheet is the most up to date, or where is the most up to date addresses spreadsheet is the better way to put it, I said to myself, why don’t we just start an online address book so it can only be in once place?? And we can access it from anywhere… with a click of google, away we go!

I am still contemplating going back to old-school paper, but who has time to fill it all in?  Hubby would be a huge fan as he can be super old school at times 🙂

Anyway, I’ve decided to go this route for now so please follow the link below and fill in your mailing address if you’d like a new Occasions 2017 catalogue (they are arriving any minute!!!!) or you are my family and would save me the time and energy required to do it my self as I write Christmas cards 🙂 I’d love to send everyone a card, but I just didn’t get as many done as I would have liked, and time seems to be just flying by!!! I can’t believe we have 1 weekend left and then Christmas is the following weekend!!! Happy mailing!!

Facebook Live Fun!

Well, it’s become the cool thing, super casual and fun, quick videos on the go… I’ve got 2 under my belt and am going to try and do a weekly post on Wednesday mornings, after the weekly updates come out from Stampin Up on Tuesdays, and I have a bit of alone time on the homefront as the wee ones are all at school at the time.

Check it out on my facebook page:

Like my page, share the post with your friends and comment below (on this blog post) that you did so, to be entered into a draw from my craftroom stash!  Draw will be done on my facebook live on Wednesay, December 21st!! Thanks for all the support!

Where have I been? and Year-End Close Outs!

Wow, I know, sorry for not posting in almost a week, blogging fail 😦  That being said, I can’t apologize for being so super busy with my family commitments.  I spent most of the early week making meatballs, ordering cakes, prepping for family to come stay for the weekend and Thursday night was Olivia’s Christmas concert.  It’s all really a blur since then. Oh, our Elf, “Elfie” also arrive on December 1st with a letter and an Advent Lego!  I think he will want to do some stamping sometime this season…hummmm

I had every intention of putting in my Occasions pre-order on Thursday when it openned, and I have yet to do it!! I know, crazy!  I will get it done tonight and those new catalogues will be in full force before you know it!  Friday night I pulled off a surprise birthday with our family and friends for Cory in downtown Calgary.  That was followed by a busy day of birthday celebration for our twins who turn 4 on the 14th and the girls night out, annual trip to A Christmas Carol at Theatre Calgary.  Yes, I have oodles to start putting in my Project Life December Daily so some catching up will be in order.  Lastly, today was supposed to be another girls trip to the Spruce Meadows Christmas Market.  My two sisters-in-law from Saskatoon were super excited, as well as my mother-in-law, but we woke up to a snowfall warning and bad weather rolling in.  My mother in law proceeded to pack up and get on the road back to Saskatchewan and a brother/sister in law also thought they should hit the dusty trail as well.  That left my other sister in law and me to turn on the 4 wheel drive and header into the market.

So here I am, Sunday night, time to get back to reality for a few weeks before we all see each other again at my in-laws in Saskatchewan.  So, I’m trying to get my to-do list down a bit and get a package off to my parents in Nova Scotia, as well as those things called…. Christmas cards…. I know, too funny, the lady who teaches card classes on making Christmas cards can barely find the time to actually address them and get them out.  I will get that done by the end of the week, hopefully. 🙂

So… what’s happening in year-end world??? Well, sale, sale, sale!  We’ve got retiring, we’ve got clearance, and we’ve got excess product!! If you are on the hunt for something, ask me and I’ll look it up… but best bet is to go through  the complete list or click the links in my shopping page. 🙂
