The best creations are those that you don’t plan to do, right? Well, half true, I did buy this bundle for the girls to play with and most likely use on my Halloween layout and when the need for some thank you cards arose, I found a way to use it!! Thank you cards are definitely the most used in my craft room and I find it weird to give them out if I haven’t made them, just feels off to me. I needed two cards for the girls to sign and send in the mail so I got started and (as you should always do) make several more in an assembly line!! I took photos of the process, see below. I am also going to do a video of the creation.
What’s also awesome? I bought this hardwood background stamp last year and had never opened it, what better time, right? Isn’t it gorgeous? I am in love for sure!
Here are a few photos of the process, follow this link for the detailed instructions to create the card: https://www.thesearemystamps.com/cards/pick-a-pumpkin-thank-you#
Video HERE! Be kind, I’m new to filming 🙂
Hardwood Background stamp on very vanilla card stock
Pick a pumpkin stamps
Patterned Pumpkin Thinlits
Lay out your die cuts to place as you desire on burlap
Adhere Thank you with dimensionals
Use Tombow liquid glue to pumpkin silhouette, use very minimal amount and only to the middle were it will adhere to the burlap.
The final product! Please comment below if you were inspired by the card. I was inspired by Pinterest but it was definitely a rarity of different ideas that lead me to this creation.
Products used are listed below with direct links to my shop!! Note: I did use a retired burlap so have linked you to the current burlap ribbon, it is not as wide as the one I used, so you would likely need two strips to create the wider look I have on mine.
